The WorkKeys Job Analysis process identifies the necessary skills and skill levels workers should have to perform job tasks effectively in a work environment.
Three Components of the WorkKeys Job Analysis Process:
1) Task Analysis: Process of working with a group of Subject Matter Experts to identify and tailor job specific tasks for a specific job position.
2) Skill Analysis: Process of working with a group of Subject Matter Experts to identify the specific WorkKeys skills and its skill levels that are critical requirements to the job based on work tasks performed.
3) Reporting: The Job Analyst prepares and compiles the task and skill analyses information into a comprehensive report that is guided by the Uniform Guidelines on Employee Selection Procedures, which have been adopted by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
